After Knights of the Innersphere and Kell Hounds have a few matches against eachother, the two groups unwind by having a little match on TSA_Refinery, a new version of a map that was converted from Crysis Wars for use within MWLL. This map is unique in that it is strictly Battle Armor only, taking players out of the Mech cockpits to test their mettle as infantry units.
New version of TSA_Mariokart comes with new ways to abuse Crysis physics and just generally fool around! Video includes a playthrough of the new, more difficult racetrack, some attempts at coordinating a Sparrowhawk group through a small tunnel, and flying off the map from a gravity pit.
First match of the night IIRC. Kind of a bleh start, you can see I was kinda all over the place when the engagement started. Our mixed assets fall to their concentrated brawler setup. That said, we did manage to knock off all their LBX arms before the fight finished, though that sadly didn't save us.
For the first round, Predator chooses the obvious Shadowcat A, capable of dealing massive damage in short order, while Invictus takes the Bushwacker D out for a spin. Will Invictus be able to slice off the UAC20 arm in time, or will his Mech succumb to Predator's autocannon barrage?
In the final match, both Invictus and Predator take the Puma C, infamous for it's good firepower and laser precision on a small, fast chassis. When the match can come down to who gets the first shot, both pilots will have to be absolutely focused.
Predator takes the accursed destroyer-of-worlds, the Mad Cat B, while Invictus opts for the rarely-seen Thanatos C. Will he be able to overcome the monstrous beast and pull an underdog victory, or will he simply become another feast for the beast that is the MCB?
